MITTONMedia is producing a series of Training Events for the Fluor Human Resources Department in Houston. Through of strategic partnerships, we developed a series of training seminars designed to help the modern human resources professional to more effectively and efficiently interact with both management and employees.
The Phase One module consists of training exercises and information on how to better communicate on a one-to-one basis, including how to see things from the other person’s perspective in order to develop a better understanding of their needs and desires, which leads to better communications. Phase One also consisted of exercises and materials that assist the human resource professional in commutating “bad news”, and how to keep potentially bad situations from escalating.
The Phase Two module covers topics that include how to communicate clearly and precisely via email, telephone and text messaging. All too often, emails can create more problems than they solve, because if not written clearly and precisely, they leave the reader to assume the writer’s meaning and feelings.
